Christmas Time

Merry Christmas!  I cant believe its already here, especially since the last time i updated our blog was during the summer! This year has been crazy!  Since summer the kids have started school, Ayden in kindergarten and Gavin in preschool. 
    Ayden is attending Valley View elementary and is absolutly loving it.  He is in Ms. Slezler's class and we could'nt feel more blessed, she is an amazing teacher and person and has taught Ayden so much already.  He is reading and learning math and writing skills and i even get to volunteer on tuesdays in his classroom.  All of the little kinders in there are so prescious!
   Gavin is going to I Know I Can Preschool with Karen and is also really enjoying school and all of his own little friends.  He comes home every tuesday and thursday with something new he has learned and made. He is becoming quite the little man and is so proud that he gets to go school too. 
  We have also been keeping Ayden busy with sports.  He has played tball, soccer and now basketball.  He loves them all and Gavin's all ready to go next year when he will be old enough for soccer.  Ayden's favorite so far has been soccer, next year he wants to play the year round team so we'll see if hes still that into it when the time comes.( i hope so:)) 

                                       

                                                            
   Besides sports and school we have been able to spend alot time of with my parents this year since they are totally moved now and have thier own place!  We have really enjoyed being able to visit and go horse back riding!  Grandpa also has plans to get both the boys on little claves next spring to practice for junior rodeo and is having thier own bull ropes made for them! too cute!  Its so great to have all of our family close again, now we just have to wait a year for when my brother gets back from afghanistan and can move closer with his family. 
  We also have some very big news that we are all very excited to share!  In April we will be welcoming a new little bundle into our family!  I am six and a half months pregnant with another little monkey, Riggin Matthew Pettigrew!   We are so excited and truely blessed! The boys cant wait to meet their new little brother:) 
   Christmas is in two days and i cant wait! Merry christmas to everyone and hopefully this kind of catches me up on our blog!:)

Summer

I cant believe how fst this summer has flown by.  We are already getting ready for school, ayden has a little confrence with his kindergarten teacher tomarrow so that he can meet her and get to know her before school!  I have a kindergartner, oh my goodness!  gavin already went and toured his class room and is ready to start preschool! 
             This summer has been full of fun and lots of time outdoors.  Ayden has been riding our new horse granger alot with me and is very excited about horses now, wich makes me so happy:)  Both of the boys have been in thier pool every chance that they get!  we also just got home from our little vacation with some friends and their kids.  we went to deer lake in deer park for four days and stayed in the jenkin's family cabin.  it was such a blast and relaxing.  We got to swim everyday and play on the bech, go for hikes and have camp fires and smores!! The kids had soooo much fun and all got to camp out together for their first sleepovers:)  so we have definatley had a great summer with family and many friends!!!!

Where do i begin, i last updated when we returned from disneyland, shame on me!  Ever since we got home its been school functions and baseball!!  I love it:)  Ayden started his first season of t-ball and we ended it today!  It was so much fun, and the whole family got to partipate and loved it.  Seth got to help coach and gavin and i were cheer squad.  I am so proud of ayden for playing and learning so much and gavin loved watching big brother and playing with all the girls during the games.  I cant wait until next year and until then we have already signed up for soccer.  We are also awaiting our letter to see where ayden will be attending kindergarten.  Gavin is signed up for preschool and will be going to karen macraes in the fall,we have orientation in june, too cute!  Both boys in school, oh my!  Seth and I have been busy shuttling kids around and working and trying to get all of our flowers planted.  He is building me a garden this year and we just got done building a bunny house, in wich we have four bunnies.  We have such a funny farm lol:)  In addition to bunnies we also have baby chicks about ready to hatch and a new three legged dog!!!!  This is what happens when you work at a veterinary hospital, my children can never say they didnt get to have any pets, thats for sure, but with all the craziness, i wouldnt change it for the world.  I have been having a blast with my uppercseliving!  I was so hesitant to do it and now i am so glad that i did!  While im doing that, seth has been getting the jeep ready for another summer of fun.  Now we just have to get the wind to calm down so we can enjoy it.  We also recently had a house guest, surprise, grandma ann came and stayed with us for a week, she left last thursday and we miss her so much already!!  Wish she lived closer, but at least while she was here she got to see boys and all their activites that they are doing.  She also spoiled me and bought me a pair of jeans that i couldnt bring myself to get, thank you momma in law!  We had a great visit!! LOve you grandma Ann. :)  Thats some for now and so much that i know i still need to update!

Vacation

We finally took a family vacation!  We drove to Disneyland!!!!  We had the most amazing trip! we were gone for seven days and drove straight through to disneyland on saturday, twenty hours.:)  The boys were so very good, thankfully:)  This mine and the boys first trip to disneyland and we already want to go back.  we took the first two days in the park riding everything, our favorite was the pirates of the carribean and splash mountain.  Ayden of course loved everyting and was able to ride everything except the indiana jones.  gGavin's favorite was pirates and i think we went on those two probably ten times a day!  ayden even went on the tower of terror twice which i loved.  My favorite part though was the characters and all the shops to look at.  We got all of our autographs and pictures and i think rode all the rides except the really big rollercoaster at california adventures.  we took one day outside the park and took the kids shopping at build a bear and the disney store and then spent the rest of the day swimming and room service.  They had the most amazing fireworks show and parade, ice cream shops, and so many activities and all of the people we met were so nice!   After that on our drive home we went through San Fransisco and across the golden gate bridge and spent night just outside the city.  We made our way home after that and the drive was so beautiful, i never new that most of california is farms and ranches! BEAUTIFUL! We had the most fun and perfect family vacation, can't wait to go back, maybe this summer lol!!!!!!

We have been outside trying to soak up all the sun we can!  Today we went up to the observatory and hiked most of the way before i had to go back to work!  the boys had a blast playing in the snow and the waterfalls , it was surprisingly warm up there and beautiful!

Where should I start?  I havent updated since new years!  We have been so busy since the start of the new year.  Just recently I started as a demonstrator for Uppercase Living and also Finishing Touches with Kayla, so we have been busy getting started with everything and we have our first party in a week!  I am so excited and a little nervous since this is my first presentation and a big one at that!  Hopefully it goes great!  I am also still working at the vet hospital and I love it!  I love my girls there, we always have a good time even though i miss my family terribly when im gone, i think they like it though because they get to play video games with thier daddy:)lol

        We have been busy cleaning up around the house inside and out since spring is trying to peak out!  We  have pretty much redone the whole inside of the house and have almost finished the kids new craft area in the office!  It is so cute!  Seth built them a wrap around table and we got them little stools to sit on along with the walls decorated with the alphabet and numbers and a map of the U.S all done in bright colors and they have all there coloring stuff and stamps and paint, ect. set out.  They totally love it and i hope it will be a good learning area for them!  Outside we are getting ready to start on a raised flower garden and vegetable garden, hopefully we'll start that tomarrow:)  The boys are definatley ready for spring time!  we signed Ayden up for Cal Rippkin Jr. baseball this week and he is soooo excited!  He asks everyday if he has practice yet, which doesnt start until april 1st.  So, today we went and got them both thier own wooden t-ball bats and a t- ball stand to practice with.  My mom got them both mits for christmas, so they should be set!  Gavin starts in april on a toddler team at the raquet club, so we have been playing alot of baseball at our house lately:)  Ayden's also still loving school and all his little girl friends(it has started already)Today was thier Valentines Day party and it was soooo cute.  They had cookies, which we took, and all sorts of other treats and exchanged valentines with each other.  It was priceless.  Gavin stayed home with grandma and loved it of course because "he's a cowboy"  and loves to help grandma feed and water all the hosres!  That's another project we are starting this weekend, the braking of my new filly "Pepper Ann".  My parents gave her to me and so i'm going to start this weekend with some ground work, she needs alot since she's not really halter broke even!  The boys are excited because they can ride thier pony through the mud puddles.  Seth is excited because he got a new horse too!  Her name is "Caramel"  and she will be here in a week or so!  I am so excited because now we can all ride as a family!

      We have also had both of the boys' birthdays which were a total blast!  We had their party together at the bowling alley and all of their friends came and I think we bowled for four hours!  The boys would have stayed longer, but we were all exhausted!  Afterwords we went out to dinner with Jason and Kayla and their boys. It was perfect and I can't believe my boys are five and three!!!!  We just had Amber and Josh and their little ones over for dinner and it was so great to see them!  We hadn't had dinner with them since summer and it was great to catch up!  Seth and Josh spent most of the time talking about hunting and thier bows, of course, so funny!  Amber and I got to enjoy some grown up girl talk and watch our boys and Makiah pretend to hunt stuff while playing a video game, they hid behind the ottoman with toys guns shooting deer!  It was pretty funny.  Amber talked me into running a half marathon in June with her and I think we have our husbands talked into it also.  It should be fun, and we have been running like crazy to get ready for it!:)  I'm excited!(and out of shape:)lol)

     Oh my goodness, i'm sure im leaving lots out i could go on forever!  Oh  p.s  we got the boys a guinea pig, his name is Buzz and he is orange and they love him, he is in there room:)  I love my little monkeys so much and my wonderful husband. What a lucky woman I am!
